   Hey I’m Jared Torres. I believe in great craftmanship, comes great product design. What makes me so interested into industrial design is that everything has a blueprint or concept or a story behind it’s development. I’ve always wondered why products kept changing. Being filled with all these questions, made me even more interested into Design. Even though this new trade poses new challenges for me, I’m ready and willing to learn more about it. After learning about Dieter Rams and Marc Newson, how one can be simple in design and the other can be mind blowing as well as innovated at the same time. Made me want to stay and pursue this trade even more.

        I plan to show these ideas and practices in the products that I’m making. That goes from working with wood to stitching leather. To design houseware goods, to environmentally safe take out boxes from fast food places.
